Safeguarding at C3 Church Cheltenham

At C3 Church Cheltenham, we believe that safeguarding is essential to creating a safe and welcoming environment for everyone. We are committed to fostering a culture of honesty, openness, and transparency where people feel protected and empowered to speak up if they have concerns.

Safeguarding is not just a policy—it’s a reflection of the value we place on every individual. We want our church to be a place where children, young people, and vulnerable adults are cared for and respected. Our aim is to ensure that everyone who comes through our doors feels safe and supported.

We partner with Thirtyone:eight, an independent Christian safeguarding charity that provides expert advice and resources to help churches and community groups protect vulnerable people from harm. Their guidance helps us stay informed about best practice and legal requirements.

If you need to raise an urgent safeguarding concern, please speak to one of the above safeguarding leads in person or via the safeguarding@c3cheltenham.org.uk email.

If the concern requires immediate action and a member of the team are unavailable, please contact Thirtyone:Eight on 03030031111 or the police on 111 (or 999 if an emergency).

For non-urgent concerns please fill in our Safeguarding Concern Form and email it to safeguarding@c3cheltenham.org.uk. A member of the Safeguarding Team will then follow this up with you.
