Nurturing Our Little Ones (0-4s)

Welcome to our dedicated provision for pre-school children aged 0-4 years. We strive to create a warm and nurturing environment for our youngest members, ensuring they feel loved and engaged.

MiniKids (Sunday Service): MiniKids (1-4s) runs in the Parent and Baby Room during the Sunday service, offering a safe and stimulating space for children while parents participate in worship.

The Nest: Our pre-school stay and play session, The Nest, takes place every Friday from 10:00am to 11:30am during term time. This group provides a range of activities, from creative crafts to physical play, allowing children to explore, learn, and grow in a supportive environment. Children enjoy snacks while parents can relax with tea and coffee, creating a friendly and community-focused atmosphere.

Dedications: Dedications are a beautiful expression of a parent's commitment to raising their child in alignment with their faith and our church's promise to support them. This service symbolizes the beginning of a faith-filled journey, where parents place their trust in God for their child's future and invite the church family's support and guidance. Parenting in the early years is challenging, but with purposeful direction, you can lay a spiritual foundation that will steer your child's faith throughout their life. Please speak to our Senior Ministers, Christian and Angie, if you would like to dedicate your child.

We look forward to welcoming you and your little ones.

Growing in Faith Together (4-11s)

Our mission at C3 Church Cheltenham is to help children develop their own relationship with Jesus. We recognise the vital role they play in the church today and as the future generation of leaders. Our activities are designed to build and nurture their faith, making them an integral part of our church community.

CCKids: At C3 Church Cheltenham, we welcome children of primary school age (4-11 years) to join us every Sunday. Our program, CCkids, kicks off around 11:00am, following the first part of the main service. Each week, we engage children in bible-based activities that include role-play, stories, DVDs, games, prayer, songs, and crafts, fostering a fun and enriching environment. During the Sunday service, our CCkids program provides a dedicated space for children to participate in engaging and interactive activities while parents attend worship.

Lego Bible Club: Our Lego Bible Club is a monthly event for primary school-aged children, held from 4pm - 6pm. This engaging session offers plenty of fun and creativity through Lego building activities based on the Bible stories they have learned.

We warmly invite families to join us at C3 Church Cheltenham and be part of our different children’s ministries. Come and grow in faith and friendship with us each week.

  • Parents play a crucial role in nurturing their children's faith and helping them build a personal relationship with Jesus. By incorporating prayer, Bible reading, and faith-based conversations into daily routines, parents can create a strong spiritual foundation for their children. Attending church services and participating in kids' ministries like CCkids also provides valuable opportunities for children to grow in their faith. At C3 Church Cheltenham, we are dedicated to supporting parents in this journey by offering engaging programs, resources, and guidance. For additional tools and support, parents can visit Parenting for Faith. Together, we can help children develop a lasting and meaningful connection with Jesus.

  • At C3 Church Cheltenham, we believe that baptism is an important step for those who choose to follow Christ, and it should be undertaken at an age where individuals can make a clear, informed decision for their lives. Therefore, we practice full immersion baptism for those who willingly commit to their faith.

For infants and younger children, we offer Dedications. A Dedication is a special ceremony where parents, family, and the church community come together to pledge their support in raising the child. This allows the child to grow and discover God's love until they are old enough to make their own decision about baptism.

We measure the understanding of the child on a case-by-case basis. As a first step, we encourage you to speak to our Senior Ministers, Christian and Angie, for guidance and to discuss your child's readiness for baptism.
