Retreat Day

Join us for a day of rest, restoration and encountering God’s presence.

This retreat is created especially for those who call C3 Church Cheltenham home. If you’re part of our regular church family or involved in serving, we’d love for you to join us as we take time to recharge, connect, and grow together.

Date: 26 September 2026

Time: 10am-4pm

Location: English Bicknor Village Hall

Food: Please bring a packed lunch and drink or money to buy food and drink locally.

Parking: There is free parking on site. We encourage you to share lifts where possible.

This event has limited spaces and places will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis. Individuals will need to organise their own transport. Please do not book on before organising this.

Booking is essential. Due to limited spaces, there will not be the ability to book last minute or turn up on the day. Please book on through the ChurchSuite event!

This will be an adults-only (16+) retreat. We’ve made this decision so that those who regularly serve in our children’s and youth ministries can step away, rest, and be part of the retreat themselves.

Guest Speakers and Worship Leaders

Chris and Gosia Denham

Chris and Gosia are the lead pastors at C3 Life Church in Leeds. They are also part of the leadership within C3 Europe. Chris and Gosia will be bringing us teaching, preaching and prayer ministry.

Stuart and Natalie Dix

Stuart currently leads worship at Primrose Hill Community Church and Natalie currently leads worship at Life Central in Halesowen. They are newly married and will be joining forces to lead our worship for the retreat.

What to bring

There will be opportunities to spend time outdoors throughout the day, so please dress appropriately for the weather. If conditions are wet, we kindly ask that you bring a change of shoes to help keep the venue clean out of respect for those we are hiring from.

You may also like to take advantage of being just a five-minute drive from the beautiful Symonds Yat. Please note there is a parking charge, so do come prepared. There is also a café on site if you’d like to make the most of the area on your lunch break.

Alongside your packed lunch, you’re welcome to bring a thermos or heatproof cup to refill throughout the day. Refreshments will also be served at two points during the retreat to keep you topped up.
