Be on Mission
At C3 Cheltenham, we believe the church isn't just a place you go—it's a people sent by God.
To “be on mission” means living out the love, truth, and hope of Jesus in everyday life. Whether across the street or across the world, we are called to share the gospel, serve our neighbors, and make disciples.
Being on mission starts where you are: in your home, workplace, school, and community. It’s also a global calling—to pray, give, go, and support efforts that bring the good news of Jesus to all nations.
Here you’ll find opportunities to get involved and ways you can live with purpose.
Summer Holiday Club 2026
Monday 17th - Friday 21st August
10:00am - 2:30pm
We’re looking for enthusiastic, caring volunteers to help make our Church’s Children’s Holiday Club a fun and memorable week for local kids! Whether you love leading games, telling stories, helping with crafts, or simply lending a hand, there’s a role for you.
Join our team and be part of sharing God’s love in a joyful, welcoming environment. No experience needed—just a willing heart and a passion for serving. Get involved and make a difference this summer!
Christmas Hampers
Each year C3 Cheltenham raises money to buy food to fill Christmas Food Hampers. These hampers are then given to people and families in and around Cheltenham and Gloucester, who are in need over the Christmas period.
Each hamper cost around £75 to put together and we aim to put together at least 55 hampers.
CAP Befriender
Christians Against Poverty is on a mission to end UK poverty. Poverty destroys lives. It robs people of joy, hope and opportunities. It tears families apart, isolates those most in need of support, and leads many to believe there is no way out.
CAP’s vision is to see transformed lives, thriving churches and an end to UK poverty.
CAP befrienders, working alongside a CAP Debt coach, are there to support the people/families who are working with CAP to manage their finances and get out of debt. A befriender is the familiar face and point of contact for these people/families.
If you would like more information, or would like to become a CAP befriender, contact Carmel - carmelsmythe@capuk.org
Street Pastors
Street Pastors are an inter-denominational Church response to urban problems, engaging with people by caring, listening and talking.
We are church members who are willing to offer support, practical help and a visible ministry to those who are out in the town late at night.
We reassure folk who may feel vulnerable, help reduce the fear of crime, provide a listening ear and offer genuine, non-judgmental pastoral support to those who need help.
