Mentoring

As part of our commitment to discipleship, we offer a mentoring programme for those who attend C3 Church Cheltenham, supporting believers as they grow in Christ.

Why Be Mentored?

Mentoring is more than just guidance — it’s walking together in faith, learning from someone who has walked the path before you, and being encouraged to grow into all God has called you to be.

A mentor comes alongside you to listen, pray, guide, and challenge you, so you can flourish in your walk with Christ

  • 1. Grow in Prayer

Prayer is the heartbeat of our relationship with God. A mentor can help you develop a deeper, more consistent prayer life — one that is personal, powerful, and Spirit-led.

  • A close-up of a card or paper with the words 'YOU ARE LOVED' in bold white letters, surrounded by colorful flowers, on a reflective surface.

    2. Be Grounded in Faith

Faith isn’t just believing — it’s living out that belief. Through mentoring, you can strengthen your trust in God, build resilience in trials, and learn how to stand firm when challenges come.

    3. Grow in Bible Knowledge & Understanding of God

God’s Word is alive and active. A mentor can help you read the Bible with fresh eyes, understand its meaning, and apply it to your everyday life, so your knowledge becomes transformation, not just information.

  • A worship concert with people raising their hands, a sign reading 'JESUS' on the screen, and musicians playing instruments on stage in colorful lighting.

    4. Develop Christian Character

Mentoring helps shape Christlike character — humility, integrity, patience, love, and perseverance — so you can reflect Jesus in every area of life.

    5. Identify & Develop Your Gifts

God has given you unique gifts and a calling. A mentor can help you recognise your strengths, discern God’s direction, and encourage you to use your gifts to serve and bless others.

If you’re ready to take the next step in your faith journey, mentoring could be the bridge between where you are and where God is calling you to be.
