Family Adventures in the Wild
Once a month we meet for walks out in nature, these adventures are open to all and are family friendly for children and four legged family members
We aim to meet in the carpark at the start times.

Bluebell Woods, Cranham
These large peaceful woods have miles of walking trails through attractive Beech woodland. The woods are a nice place for family adventures and dogs are welcome

Sunday 19th May 2024 - 2.30pm
Cirencester Park, Cirencester
Children can enjoy the nature-inspired play area or a visit to the kitchen garden, as well as shops, a micro-brewery and a dog wash.
Please note: There is a small fee for entrance into the park, for admission prices see - Passes & Tickets - The Bathurst Estate

Sunday 16th June 2024 - 1.30pm (BYO Picnic)
Stratford Park, Stoud
Stratford Park is located just outside Stroud town in Gloucestershire and includes some 56 acres and plenty to explore, it is a great destination for everyone! The parkland has large grassy lawns, two children’s play areas, a lake, miniature railway, woodland and an arboretum.
Parking is located just off the main Stratford Road

Worcester Woods Country Park
Worcester Woods Country Park is made up of 100 acres of land and has two nature reserves, a huge open field, a playground and an on-site cafe. People can enjoy birds, swings, a giant slide, coffee, flowers and footpaths ready to explore.

Sunday 18th August 2024 - 1.30pm (BYO Picnic)
Abbey Park, Evesham
Central to the town, the park is a wonderful setting with a natural terrace and excellent views from the higher levels over the adjacent river Avon. Boat trips run from the Park Quay in the summer. The park features a newly renovated play zone which includes an underground bank slide, a trampoline, basket swing, climbing units, wide slide, a huge sand play area and designated water play area, don’t forget your swimming costumes and towels!
Suggested parking at Crown Meadow Car Park just off Abbey Road. The park is a short walk along the river.

Beechenhurst, Forest of Dean
Beechenhurst lies in the heart of the Forest of Dean, one of Britain's oldest and largest woodlands.
It is the ideal place for families to start their forest adventure, with a family activity trail, large forest-themed play area and the Forest of Dean Sculpture Trail - look out for our unique collection of artworks hidden among the trees. Join us for a hot chocolate afterwards in the café.

Sunday 20th October 2024 - 2.30pm
Mallards Pike, Forest of Dean
This lovely forest was designated the first National Forest Park in 1938 and it remains popular to this day. This walk is easy going and appreciated by families, dog owners and cyclists alike! Join us for a hot chocolate afterwards in the café.
