C3 Covid Updates
Monday 29th November 2021
As you will be aware Monday this week restrictions regarding COVID and the wearing of facemasks in enclosed spaces have been reintorduced. C3 Cheltenham continues to encourage the wearing of facemasks all around the building and during the service, especially when singing. There are members of our congregation who are very vulnerable to the serious effects of Covid 19. It is our desire to make sure the congregation is as safe as possible.
These are our suggested guidelines:
- If you are unwell please do not attend a church event. Remember the symptoms of COVID if you have been double jabbed are not the same as if you have had no vaccination (they are more like a cold).
- Although we will seek to create as much ventilation as possible, we think the service should be treated as an enclosed space and would encourage you to wear a face mask while in the service. This is particularly important if you wish to sing. This is to protect other people.
- Please wash or sanitize your hands on entering and leaving the building.
We understand that we cannot insist on these guidelines being observed but would encourage you to do so as much as possible. As Christians we need to treat one another with respect in regard to whatever choices a person has made regarding their well being, and behave in ways that protect and care for others. For some of our church family this pandemic has brought the loss of loved ones, the loss of health or the loss of income. Even if you are ready to abandon all restrictions, please remember others may not be.
Thank you for all your patience and perseverance during this difficult time, let’s continue to pray for God’s mercy and His intervention to protect our loved ones, our church and our nation .
If you have any questions or concerns please contact the church office.
