Here are a few ideas to help you think through what your next steps might be in growing in the Christian faith.
Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith.
Who is Alpha for?
Alpha is for anyone who's curious. The talks are designed to encourage conversation and explore the basics of the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. No question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish.
How does it work?
Alpha is ten sessions with the option of a day or weekend away in the middle. Each session includes food, a short talk and a discussion at the end where you can share your thoughts. At any point, if you think Alpha isn't for you, that's not a problem. There's no pressure, no follow up and no charge.
When and where?
Our next course starts on Monday 14th January, 7.30pm @ The Pavilion, Hatherley Lane, Cheltenham, GL51 6PN. To sign up, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01242 241461.

Just before he left this earth Jesus instructed his disciples to preach the gospel and baptise those who believed in him by full immersion in water, as a public declaration of their faith. The early church preached this message and saw many thousands make this public stand. It is a powerful act that is often deeply meaningful to those who take part. Perhaps this is your next step. If so speak to one of the leaders and we will arrange for this to take place.
Signing up to become a member of the church is a key step in engaging in the life of the church and aligning yourself with its vision and values. It is a way of saying ‘this is my spiritual home and family’. If you want to become a member of the church or just to find out more about the church come along to the next New Members Lunch or speak to one of the leaders.
During the year there will be various training and discipleship courses that you can get involved in to personally grow and develop your own faith and life skills. Check out what is going on and make it a regular habit to go on a training course or attend a conference as part of your growth.
